Supermodel Cindy Crawford has revealed she's through with posing professionally, announcing she's retiring from the industry. "I'm sure I'll have my picture taken for 10 more years, but not as a model anymore. And that's OK. I've done it," she told United's in-flight magazine, Hemispheres. "I've worked with all these incredible photographers. What else do I need to do? I can't keep reinventing myself. I shouldn't have to keep proving myself. I don't want to."
This isn't a situation with a model emerging from semi-retirement to make it official. Rather, Crawford is fresh off of some very busy days, having just landed Balmain's newest campaign alongside other '90s supers and releasing a glossy new book of modeling shots (of the Rizzoli tome, she says the project was "maybe not [to] say goodbye, but move on").
