CFC is a pure polysaccharide extract from Amorphophallus, Rhodiola crenulata, Angelica sinensis, Lycii chinensis, and Pearl powder to promote the growth of good bacteria and to balance the pH level in the intestines. CFC is also used to naturally treat constipation and colon problems.
CFC is a glucose mannose polysaccharide that cannot be broken down in the stomach by Amylases (digestive enzymes). It absorbs water and expands 50 to 100 times its original volume to a homogenous gel composition of pH 7 to 8. This gel coats the lumen cavity and protects the stomach from overly acidic conditions, thus reducing the risk of cancer. The mixture of food and this sticky material cuases food to remain safely in the stomach for a longer period of time, promoting metabolism by slowing absorption, increasing glucose tolerance, and promoting a feeling of fullness (satiety).
